Go Back Water Lily – Yellow

Nymphaeaceae Nymphaea 'Yellow'

Plant Type: Water Gardening

Elegant yellow blooms. Mid to large size. Plant 24" under water's surface for winter hardiness in Northern areas.

Currently not available for online purchase.

Growing & Maintenance Tips:

Plant lilies in a large container, with or without holes. Use soil from your garden. Water plant very well prior to placing in your pond. Introduce the newly potted lily slow into your pond. Too fast will cause the soil to bubble out.

You can place gravel or other decorative rock on the top of the soil. This tends to hold the soil in place better, looks better, and provides something for your large goldfish or Koi to play with.

Water Lilies need to be fertilized every other week throughout the growing season. Especially during the flowering period.
