    Its long slender spikes of purplish blue flowers with white throats reach 3 feet tall. Narrow leaves are grayish green. Use in natural gardens or in English cottage gardens. Best in temperate northern climates, Toadflax is popular for it's spikes of bright, snapdragon-like blooms. Long-spurred flowers. They are easy to grow in full sun and sandy, well-drained soil.
