The Exclamation!™ London Planetree is a hybrid between the American Sycamore (Platanus occidentalis) and Oriental Sycamore (Platanus orientalis). It has superior resistance to Anthracnose and Frost Cracking compared to the pure American Sycamore. Its exfoliating bark begins with shades of green to tan to brown, which peel away to reveal a cream-white colored bark with age.

Tolerates dry sites, west sites, alkaline soil, clay soil, and road salt. Has showy bark, and attractive fruit. Does not tolerate shady locations. Can be a messy tree since it drops a lot of leaves, twigs, and fruit. Has very showy peeling bark, revealing a mottled pattern of green, tan, and brown bark.
