Plant Type: Deciduous Shrubs

Vibrant red shoots emerge in spring and mature into rich bronze, red-tipped foliage. Clusters of deep pink flowers cover the plant in early summer and contrast nicely with the foliage. Semi-double, bright pink flower clusters July through September. Pruning after the first bloom season will encourage fall flowering. In fall the foliage takes on rich russet tones that remain colorful well into November. Does best in full sun. Valued for rock gardens, groundcover, borders and foundations.
