Prized for its unmatched foliage color, this handsome grass has fast growing green blades that emerge with red tips in spring, darken through summer, and turn a rich burgundy in fall. Airy reddish pink flowers develop in summer. Use for mass background plantings or in containers.

Growing & Maintenance Tips:

Easy to grow and adapts to most soil types; prefers semi-moist to wet soils. Water deeply, regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Tolerates mild drought, once established. Cut old foliage back and apply a general purpose fertilizer just before new shoots appear in late winter to early spring.
