This hosta has showy red petioles and heavily rippled leaves. It forms an upright spreading clump of green leaves with creamy white, ruffled margins.  The lightly corrugated texture develops as the hosta grows and matures. Having a late season interest is a bonus because deep purplish red scapes grow above the foliage carrying pale purple flowers.
