This is a small to medium hosta that typically grows in an arching mound to 10″ tall and spreads over time to as much as 28″ wide. Lanceolate, dark green leaves (8″ long and 3.5″ wide) with acute tips and open bases that are silvery-white beneath. Leaf petioles are heavily speckled with red which bleeds into the leaf bases. Funnel-shaped lavender flowers in dense racemes appear in late summer on leafy, burgundy scapes rising above the foliage mound to 24″
