Plant Type: Perennials

A bold and distinctive look for Primula — fluted petals of bright blue held down and out from a large white center on chalky white stems! There has never been a Primrose like Noverna Deep Blue, it will add unique form and texture to your partly shaded garden. These flowers are held well above the foliage, arising on stiff, sturdy white stems. The central boss is irresistible to bees and butterflies, and the downward-facing trumpets of brightest blue add a merry note to the display. Expect them to arise all summer on plants that are treated to well-worked, enriched soil with good drainage. The foliage is attractive on this Primrose as well. Gray-green and slightly crinkled,it keeps the plant interesting even when out of bloom. Makes a fine addition to the front or middle of the shade border.
