Plant Type: Perennials

'Princess Louise' is an unusual color that attracts gardeners who stay away from the brighter scarlet and orange shades. Salmon pink flowers. Poppies planted in spring often won't flower until the following year. Oriental Poppies go summer-dormant (leaves turn brown and lie down on the ground) in July and August after blooming is finished. New growth reappear in early fall. A great flower for cold, short-season areas.
