    Mount Royal is very hardy bluish-black freestone plum. It is meaty, tender, sweet and juicy. It is good for all uses, including drying as prunes. It ripens in mid-season in late August. One of the best and hardiest plums for the backyard.

    Blue – European Plum. Good eaten off tree. Excellent for dessert, jam and preserves. Tender, juicy flesh. Considered the best blue cultivar in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
