Go Back Pear Parker

Pyrus 'Parker'

Plant Type: Fruit Trees

Large, yellow-bronze fruit. Fine grained, tender and juicy. Upright and vigorous grower. Early May blooming. Large to medium, yellow-bronze fruit is harvested early September. Fine-grained, tender, juicy, sweet flesh is good for fresh eating and fair for canning. Vigorous grower. ‘Patten’ is a recommended pollinator that should be planted within 40-50 feet. Bees are not partial to pear blossoms. The nectar is low in sugar content and the trees normally blossom early in the season when it is too cool or wet for bees to fly. Very winter hardy.
