Plant Type: Hostas

Hosta ‘Peacock Feathers’ is a cross between Hosta ‘Gold Regal’ and Hosta ‘Blue Vision’. The color of the leaves are blue-green in early summer but the leaves will be green by August to form a medium sized mound. The real attraction is its potential for multi-petaled flowers. Normal hostas only have 6 petals but this one sometimes has 7 to 15 petals per flower, making for a unique flower display.

Blooms: Multi-petaled (not double), pale purple flowers bloom in late July and August.
