Hosta ‘Orange Star’ is a midsized specimen with bright yellow leaves and dark green margins with an added orange glow from the center. Lavender flowers appear in July. Likes the sun! If grown in morning sun, the thick leaf centers will be orange in spring and by August fade to a cream color. If grown in the shade, you will have yellow leaves throughout the season that will not darken. Grows slower.
