Upright and rounded, this hardy Lilac has purple buds that open to single, fragrant, pale lilac flowers when other lilacs have finished. Dark glossy green foliage turns burgundy red in fall and is resistant to powdery mildew. This lilac takes to trimming and may offer late blooms. Does not sucker. Valued for short, formal or informal hedges and foundation plantings.
