    Dappled Dawn has deep red-purple buds that open to fragrant, magenta blossoms. The foliage is the unique feature on this plant. The leaves have an irregular, deep yellow variegation, as if they were splashed with yellow. The variegated leaves add summer color to the border. Prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Rarely to never fed on by Japanese beetles.
