An excellent tree for tough urban locations, Espresso™ Kentucky Coffeetree is vase-shaped with upright, arching branches that provides dappled shade. As a grafted male selection, it bears no messy seed pods. The blue-green leaves are bi-pinnately compound, turning yellow in the fall. The dark coarse bark is an attractive feature in the winter. Tolerant of heat, cold, drought, and wind. A J. Frank Schmidt Nursery introduction.
