Plant Type: Hostas

Discovered in the mountains of Japan, hosta “Katsuragawa Beni” is a pretty little plant that features narrow, pointed, shiny green leaves. The leaf stems are red, with the red creeping up into the base of the leaf and displaying a touch of red speckling on the leaf itself. A strong and fast grower. The flower scapes are red, topped off with green seed pods that show some red speckling. While not quite as red as “Red October” this plant’s red coloration is distributed farther into the leaf.
