This reverse sport of Hosta ‘Great Expectations’ makes an attractive, large mound that has its best blue color when grown in some shade. It is similar to Hosta ‘Northern Exposure’ except that the margin is brighter yellow in the spring. ‘Great Arrival’ has of moderate growth rate. This hosta’s leaves are heavily corrugated, of thick substance, and do not develop spring desiccation burn.
