    Sumptious maroon to deep purple-black flowers and soft green, deeply lobed leaves, blotched with purple.  One of this plant's common names, 'Mourning Widow', is inspired by the spectacularly dark flowers,born on slender stems from late spring to early summer. Low maintenance, it thrives in damp shades.
