    Hardy and very attractive, this rounded Weigela has variegated foliage that is dark green with thick, lime green to yellow margins. Large, deep scarlet, trumpet-shaped flowers appear late spring through early summer. Prefers well-drained soil. Valued for the variegated foliage and contrasting flower, this plant is excellent for accent, hedges and foundation plantings.
