    Foxgloves are biennials or short-lived perennials that perform well in sun or part shade, and are low maintenance plants for the back of a flower bed or the cottage garden. Grows to 4-6′ the second year of flowering. Mostly pink or cream with spotted throats. Flowers encircle the spike and are held straight out, not slanted down. Blooms late spring to early summer. Grows well in partial shade or sun in borders and woodland gardens. Biennial. Height 5 feet.
