This dwarf variety has an excellent uniform habit and red-purple buds that open to fragrant, single, pale lilac flowers. Blooms mid to late season. A profuse bloomer that flowers at an early age. Small leaves emerge with a purplish margin in spring turning shiny dark green in summer and finally to yellowish-green in fall. Resistant to powdery mildew. Ideal for borders, informal hedges and foundation plantings. Frequently reblooms in late summer.
