Plant Type: Perennials

Rich, deep, royal-violet flowers with a contrasting white bee, crowd along the tall spikes for a stunning affect in your garden!  Blooming in early to mid summer delphiniums are the perfect choice for a bright splash of color early in the season.  'Pacific Giant Hybrids' are the tallest and showiest of all delphiniums with spikes of semi-double florets that can reach a height of 6 feet.  May need staking to prevent spikes from breaking and bending in windy or open areas.

Growing & Maintenance Tips:

Removing faded flower spikes at the base will encourage repeat blooming in the fall.  Plants are often attacked by mildew in midsummer;  simply cut back hard to encourage fresh foliage.  Fertilize with a slow release fertilizer in the spring.
