    A "Mid-Size" Pink Delphinium that Never Needs Staking!  Pink flowers with pale yellow centers crowd all along the flower stalk for a very bushy, colorful effect. The bloom stalks are about a foot long atop 24- to 28-inch plant.  A good choice for the front of the border or for smaller gardens, where vertical color without too much height is appreciated! Magic Fountain blooms in early to midsummer.

    Growing & Maintenance Tips:

    Does best in full sun or, in warmer climates, partial shade. Once the plant is established, shear it back almost to the ground right after flowering to encourage a second bloom in fall. Delphinium also appreciates a year-round mulch.  Delphiniums rarely need winter protection, even in zero sections. They don't mind freezing; it's freezing-and-thawing, and cold wet feet that are bad. When cleaning garden for winter, rake lightly around plants so as not to injure their crowns. Never move delphiniums when dormant.
