Go Back Coral Bells Marvelous Marble

Plant Type: Perennials

This new selection offers good vigor in both container production and in the landscape.  It is one of the first Heucheras that offers a change of color through the seasons. In spring, the new foliage emerges purple.  Through the seasons, the foliage matures to deep green with prominent reddish purple veining and a light silver overlay.  The flower stems are quite short, bearing creamy white flowers a bit earlier than is typical for Heucheras.

Coral bells are easy to grow and blend easily with most other perennials in the landscape.  Because of their low, mounding habit, they are often used as edging along paths or in containers.  Try cutting a few of the tall flower scapes for fresh bouquets.
