Plant Type: Perennials

A novelty variety of columbines with its unique double flowers. The base of the flower petals and the short spurs are dark blue which fades to pure white at the top of each petal. The exquisite flowers of 'Winky Double Blue & White' are presented in a bouquet atop the nicely mounded foliage and face upward for best display. Looks lovely in a mixed container with other early summer bloomers!

Aquilegias are widely known for their love of shady areas, but also do well in the sun, in moist, well-drained soil.  Use them for an early season cut flower; long lasting, up to two weeks.   Aquilegia is especially lovely when allowed to naturalize in shady, woodland borders.
