A prolific bloomer, covered with clusters of fragrant pink flowers in April and May. A second sparse bloom can occur late summer. Red berries 1/3 inch wide. Striking variegated foliage forms a dense mounded shape. Requires a cool, dry or well-drained site and preferably alkaline soil. Excessive moisture must be avoided. Sun or partial shade.
