    A dense, rounded shrub Carnaval is an excellent new Weigela with showy blossoms of pink, white and red. Carnaval is a tetraploid and you will see this in the thick, substantive blossoms. A long bloomer and a great addition to the shrub border. Disease free, hardy and very adaptable. Prefers well-drained soil. Valued for the early summer flowering, this plant is an excellent accent or foundation plant and a great addition to the perennial bed or hummingbird garden.
