This hosta emerges from the ground with a glaucous coating giving it a silvery green look. As the summer goes on the leaves turn to a nice shade of green with a hint of blue. Blue Sensation grows 24 inches in height with a spread of 60 inches. Its foliage is moderately corrugated and lightly wavy with a thick substance. The tubular flowers bloom in mid-summer.
