A multi-stemmed, narrow, pyramidal tree with glossy,dark green foliage that turns yellow in fall. Attractive chalk white bark that does not exfoliate. Popular white barked birch because of the borer resistance but the bark is not as white as paper birch. Tolerant of high temperatures. Tolerates a wide range of soil types.
