(Golden ‘Delicious’ x ‘Haralson’) University of Minnesota, 1969. Medium to large, yellow apple. Fruit is crisp, juicy and sweet. Excellent for eating as well as cooking. Medium storage life. Similar to Golden ‘Delicious’, but hardier.

Honeygold is a cross between Golden Delicious and Haralson. A mid-late season apple with medium to large yellow fruit and creamy white flesh. In spring, pinkish and white beautiful blooms emerge. The University of Minnesota developed it to tolerate winter temperatures as low as -50 degrees Fahrenheit.
