    Hosta ‘Aomori Gold’ is a medium hosta with upright, bright yellow foliage that has a narrow, dark green marginal variegation. The leaf center starts chartreuse and turns yellow as the season progresses. Medium purple flowers bloom in midsummer.  This hosta was first located at the far northern tip of Honshu Island in Japan.
