According to daylily expert Arthur Kroll, this variety is very similar to Silver Stout Winner ‘Ida’s Magic’, but is a much stronger grower. This daylily has strong, well-branched scapes with lots of buds for an explosion of boom in midsummer.
Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone).
